Anyone using Linux?

Post by linuxfreak » Thu Mar 21, 2013 11:56 pm

Hello -

I have recently made the switch to Linux, Linux Mint 14 64-Bit to be specific. If there is anyone also using Linux that has a working development environment, please tell me what and how you have it set up. I have gcc, nasm and CodeBlocks IDE, this should be enough to write and compile the OS. If there is any specific way you set up CodeBlocks, or any other IDE for that matter, please tell. Also any other app that's useful or that you use when it comes to this, feel free to include it. I want to use native Linux software before I install MSVS in Wine.

Regards
Jean-Pierre :D

I've stopped using Linux a few years back because of the lack of resources. Has that changed nowadays?
