The subject basically describes it. For some reason, when I call pmmngr_is_paging(); in Demo 23 it returns false.
Is this because there is no pmmngr_alloc_block(); call in Demo 23? Or is it some other function I am simply missing?

Re: Reading from disk troubles (demo 22)
I am doing this as an educational project so I am using the series and demos to actually learn. I'm an electrical engineering major focusing in system development and wanted to get some insight and knowledge before making this decision. General Protection Fault on Demo 23
Even when compiling straight from demo, the system running in a Bochs vm receives a Genreal Protection fault when trying to enter user mode.
Is this because of some bug with Bochs?
Is this a known problem?
I've narrowed it down to the iretd, but have no way of further tracking it down.

Using a Hard Disk (or image) instead of floppy?
I could not find this question anywhere on the board, but is it possible to implement the two stage loader as well as the FAT12 filesystem on an image that boots as a hard drive instead of a floppy? I ask because I don't even own a machine that has a floppy drive! I could emulate one, but I'd rather...
